Common Tracking Number Mistakes to Avoid
Spaces or Dashes
Enter the number without any spaces or dashes. EE-123456789-IN is wrong. Correct: EE123456789IN
Lowercase Letters
The tracking number is case-insensitive online, but for SMS tracking, enter in UPPERCASE only.
Wrong Length
Speed Post numbers are exactly 13 characters. If yours is shorter or longer, double-check the receipt. You may have missed a digit.
Zero vs Letter O
The digit 0 (zero) and the letter O (oh) can look similar. Speed Post numbers only use digits (0–9) in the middle section.
Cannot find your tracking number? If you have lost your receipt, visit the booking post office with a valid ID and the approximate booking date. The postmaster can look up the article number in their records.
FAQs on Tracking Number Format
How long is a Speed Post tracking number?
